FINANCE, LITURGY AND PARISH LIFE |

FINANCE
The Finance Committee oversees the annual budget and advises the Pastor and Parish Council on the parish's financial status on a quarterly basis in relation to the budget. Activities include:
- Providing guidance on all financial matters for the parish.
- Insuring that all donations and expenditures are accounted for according to diocesan procedures.
- Recommending to the Pastor and Parish Council ways to reduce parish operating cost.
- Reporting annually on the financial condition of the parish and plans for the upcoming year.
- Training collection counters, volunteers who work in pairs, counting the weekly collection on Sundays. Each counter works approximately once every eight weeks.

LITURGY
This committee meets approximately every two months. Its purpose is to explore and recommend programs that will maximize the involvement of the parishoners in the liturgy, the celebration of the Mass, and the spiritual life of the parish.
Subcommittees that report to the Liturgy Committee are:

- Children's Liturgy of the Word
- Eucharistic Ministers
- Eucharistic Ministers to Shut-ins
- Music
- Lectors
- Ushers
- Altar servers
- Altar Guild
- Wedding Coordinator

PARISH LIFE
The mission of this committee is to serve as a resource base and coordinating group for the planning, scheduling, organization, staffing, and operation of events that bring the parishioners together as a family.
The committee oversees annual traditional events at the church, such as:
- Fish Fry Dinners during Lent
- Flower Sale
- Nursery during 11:00 AM Sunday Mass
- Parish Picnic
- Soup Suppers during Lent
- Welcoming Committee
- Women's Club
- Easter Egg Hunt
Bereavement Luncheons after Funerals
