Individual reconciliation is offered on Saturdays from 4:00 to 4:30 PM, or by appointment. Communal reconciliation services are scheduled during Advent and Lent.
EUCHARIST TO THE HOMEBOUND
Please call the Parish Office when members of the parish family are ill, confined to home, or hospitalized. Pastoral visits will be arranged. Members of the parish bring the Eucharist to parishioners who are homebound every Sunday.
MARRIAGE
The sacrament of marriage is a solemn and joyous event that unites two people in a special way before God and family and friends. The parish has a booklet called "Guidelines for Celebrating Marriage at Our Lady of Victory Church."
This guide outlines the initial planning, documents required, wedding liturgy and other details about having a marriage performed at Our Lady of Victory. The parish has a wedding consultant. Six months notice is required.
Call the parish office at 488-2428 to have the information packet sent to you.
FUNERALS
Funeral Mass is offered at the death of a parish member. The parish has a Bereavement Committee of volunteers that serve a luncheon for family and friends in Victory Hall after the funeral Mass and burial. Please call the parish office for arrangements for the Mass and optional luncheons.
SACRAMENTS OF INITIATION
The sacraments of Christian Initiation are Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. Pope Paul VI wrote, "The faithful are born anew by Baptism, strengthened by the sacrament of Confirmation, and receive in the Eucharist the food of eternal life." If someone wishes to receive these sacraments, the parish offers the Rites of Christian Initiation (R.C.I.A.,) classes to learn and prepare to receive these holy sacraments. MORE>
